Welcome to Hometown! For 199 years, we’ve been building a nearly perfect society in our humble, isolated underground city. No one on the surface knows about us, so tourism is, uh... lacking. However, due to unfortunate recent circumstances, our city’s pollution has been growing and growing. Soon, we won’t be able to reverse what’s been done. Our society will collapse into anarchy, and that’s just the best case scenario. We’ve developed a prophecy that the combined abilities of a cat and a human can save us, but uh... so far, no one’s tried. We’re just waiting until someone will... and it looks like our near future is brighter than it seems.
