On his1,000th birthday, [or a week late because he slept through all last week] a Germanic vampier named Eridan Ampora, decides to leave his comfortable and cozy apartment every month or so to go out into the city in search of the only thing that ever drives him to face the outside. One problem stands in his way of getting the very sustenance that keeps him alive every time, hemophobia. Fear of blood. With the inner terror of seeing blood set deeply in his mind from when his body was still human, coupled with his social anxiety, Eridan faces many troubles as he steps outside the easy solitude of his home.
