Satoru and the Magic Brush Satoru is the only son of the most famous ninja clan of Japan: "The Chick Clan". After years of fighting, protecting its reputation, now the clan enjoy peace in a small village, far away from the big cities. Although is a rule on the family passing on the ninja knowledge of the clan, Satoru does not agree with the "Being a ninja" thing, he wants to be a true draftman and dedicate his life to the art. Despite of the family arguments, Keitarou, the pater familias does not agree with his son and force Satoru to do a lot of ninja works to forge his soul.
