Their leader, Guillemette, holds command over dark and dangerous creatures called "Shadows" that help the Acolytes in their endeavors. These Acolytes fervently worship the pestilent titan, Rathion. However, Rathion has not been spotted for decades. "Tyrion," a young man with amnesia finds himself caught in the Acolyte's gaze - in Guillemette's gaze. He can't remember much yet, but he does remember being viciously pursued by the Acolytes when he was just a child. However, this child had outside help - his own guardian angel. They had done well to shield him from the dangerous Acolytes - until now. Now a man, hiding behind a false name, with buried power and no memories of his past, crosses paths with the leader of the Acolytes herself - Guillemette.
