When magic returns to the world of Seraphii, Faye struggles to understand the purpose of being born as one of its users, an augur. Unfortunately, knowledge of augury from the old days of magic is lost behind hordes of monsters and ancient locks. After an incident leaves her without a home, she journeys to these ancient places to find the lost secrets of magic--and hopefully a better understanding of what she is.
