Skyrim, also known as the old kingdom and the fatherland. It is the home to the Nords, large and hardy women and men who considers themselves as children of the sky. Skyrim houses several places of great importance throughout the history of Tamriel. Among other things, it houses Jorrvaskr which can be found in the city of Whiterun. Jorrvaskr is the home of The Companions, an ancient guild of some of the best warriors in Tamriel. Ever since Ysgramor, The Companions have been leaderless. Today, The Circle acts as the highest authority of the guild that receives council by an elder known as Kodlak Whitemane.
