In a post-apocalyptic scenario, a plague which causes people to be internally devoured by plants has spread among mankind: the afflicted ones slowly lose consciousness and turn into the so-called "mindless". The few sound of mind are left struggling to live and trying to find a cure. Among them is Osric, who, after surviving a midless attack, decided to pursue a cure.
