The goddess of the night has been slain in the war of the gods; Ragnarok. Though her body was destroyed, her immortal soul continued on, lost and wandering, until she found her way to Midgard. Amongst the populous of mortal man, a suitable host for her soul was found in that of a baby girl. After twenty-four years of sharing both a body and a name, the goddess and the girl are ready to begin a journey that will take them across the realm and beyond.
