Sasuke, having just defeated his brother Itachi at last, joins with Akatsuki to bring down Konohagakure. However, instead of being sent after the 8-tailed host, Sasuke insists on going after the only other remaining tailed beast, the host of the 9-tailed fox, Naruto Uzumaki.
