So a w-ndigo is more of a spirit than an actual monster. The antler trope was added by some white dude. But every indigenous person I ever talked to (including me) still likes the deer monster idea! It's just weird that it's called something it's totally not. Please be respectful in the comments! Saying the word w-ndigo can be really harmful to some.
