Kalina, a 15-year-old girl who loves to sew and design unique clothing, and plant flowers all around the massive amount of area behind her house, has been home schooled since she was 8 by her mother. Things are about to change, however, as life turns a sharp corner. As she now attends her 10th grade year of high school, she struggles to fit in with the strange clothes she wears, the unique personality she holds, and the weird ways she sees the world about her. But that isn't all that is in store for her. She doesn't know about the way that she will change one of her most unique freind's life forever, as well as the life of many others.
