Elliot is a Dreamcatcher created by his most beloved and only friend, James. James is afraid of the dark, heights, thunderstorms, and pretty much everything else, but Elliot is there to keep the Nightmares at bay. But when a Dream-Eater kidnaps James, Elliot must venture into the Brainstorm to rescue him, before it’s too late.

All Liam wanted was to live a quiet life and after having to deal with a traumatic childhood, a dissociative disorder, and drifting from place to place for years he thought he'd finally found a place to settle down. But after his boss told him he would be closing their bookstore within the year, Liam is left with two options, move again, or somehow acquire three million dollars. Liam works himself to the bone to no avail, when a chance encounter with the Dreamcatchers, a secret organization dedicated to protecting people from Nightmares, gives Liam just the opportunity he needs. If Liam is lucky, he can survive working with the Dreamcatchers for a year, make enough money to buy the shop, and keep his dissociative disorder a secret from his new colleagues.
