Xing-Lee "Amber" Cheng grew up in a small suburban town with her tough parents who immigrated from China when they were her age. Now she's in her last year of high school and is going to a top-tier college if all goes well ( maintaining those high grades and that basketball scholarship) But it's not what she wants. Follow Amber's adventure as she tries to conform to the "norm", while also trying to get over the high standards that her parents have placed. It'll be tough, but Amber is tougher.
