Issues is a comic book guide to the news for people who aren't up to date on current events. It is a senior thesis that deals with the problem of teen complacency in the face of current events. The thesis is intended for comic book readers who do not have interest in the news, and have little prior knowledge of current events. Issues targets readers who prefer science fiction/fantasy comics. It draws inspiration from Dr. Who, Magic School Bus, and other sci fi titles. It aims to give the readers a place to start reading and in doing so, imparts context to place any related information about the news item being discussed.
