Based on 19th century Japan. A young girl travels through her homeland after spending 5 years in China, learning to combine Chinese Kung Fu with the Japanese martial arts. Her quest is to avenge her family after they were murdered by a ruthless band of Yakuza working with an evil Shogun. With her sword skills and her reputation of leaving fire and blood wherever she goes, this girl is known as Kagero, the Fire Rose, bent on defeating the Yakuza and finding the man pulling the strings.
