I am a Dream Eater. Or at least I am now. I wasn't always. But I can't remember the stuff before I got lost. That's what happens when you become one. A Dream Eater. You get lost in your dreams, and if you can't find your way back, well, you never will. I never did. But that's okay. I come from a beautiful place. It's small, but everything's alive and fun. Even the plants talk. Or at least Dove says they do. Dove is the creator. He's kind of a dork sometimes, but I like him. He thinks his world is broken. He says he broke it. And he's on a mission to help as many creatures as he can to make the most of what he messed up. This is the story of how Dove helped me. It's also the story of how we met, and how I got tangled up in all his crazy travels. And last, but not least, it's the story of how I came to be known as Peony.

Hello. Um. My name is Pouring. They call me that because, uh, wait. Hold on, let me start over... I am a Cloud Kitten. Which means, um, I'm a kitten made of clouds. There are lots of us Cloud Kittens. We live in the Bamboo Forest, high, high up above the fog and the clouds... Well, most Cloud Kittens do. I live close to the ground. Or I used to. Um. I'll get to that. They call me Pouring because, well, sometimes... I get a little sad and I rain on accident. It's hard to be happy when most Cloud Kittens are having so much fun above the clouds without me. I would play with them if I could, but... I'm too heavy to float as high as them. So I'm stuck here on the ground, all by myself. I don't remember when I got too heavy to float, but it gets lonelier the longer I'm stuck here. Not many Cloud Kittens come to see me. The longer I wait the sadder I get, and that means I get heavier and heavier. I thought I'd never be light enough to float again. That is, until I met Dove. Dove is the Creator. He's very nice, and he's always happy to see me. This is the story of how we met. It's also the story of how I came to be his guide. And of course, most importantly, it's the story of how Dove helped me float again.
